» Slight change to IMR Shuttle Service |
IMR ShuttleThe OSU Institute for Materials Research (IMR) runs a van shuttle service between Central and West Campus on regular weekdays. The 12-seat white van is marked “IMR-1” and now stops in four locations. The first stop is in front of Dreese Lab on Neil Avenue at the bicycle racks. The second stop is the front door of the Science Village Building, home of Nanotech West, at 1381 Kinnear Road. The third stop is at the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) at 930 Kinnear Road. After that, the van returns to its parking location beside Caldwell Hall on 19th Avenue. The service is free and is available to all students, staff, and visitors who utilize laboratory facilities and offices on the West Campus, including Nanotech West and CAR but also including the ElectroScience Laboratory and others. The timetable is subject to change to best serve the needs of the community, so users of the shuttle service are encouraged to check the schedule often. There are also infrequent outages of service that are announced to the IMR listserv and Nanotech total lab users broadcast email. NOTE: For the Autumn 2008 academic quarter, the 3:00 PM shuttle run will occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ONLY due to a scheduling conflict. The current timetable is:
